Age of the Crack is of importance. It must
not be contaminated- Do not clean, leave
that to us.





Because thinner glass is being used to reduce
overall weight of the vehicle, Star Breaks have
become the most common type of rock chips
we see. These can be very difficult because
our special bonding resin has to go to the very,
very tips of each of the individual legs
radiating from the impact point. (These are
actually cracks  - lots of them, just 
waiting to grow from that right bump or 
temperature change).   





Combination Breaks can also be difficult.
Notice all of the small, minute cracks? There
can be hundreds of tiny fissures and each
one has to be filled correctly.





Bullseye Breaks typically are found on thicker
and denser windshield glass. Older cars and
trucks often had this type of windshield.
Alot of people do not realize that some of
the replacement windshields put into their
vehicles are cheaper, thinner and less dense
windshields.Some are made in Mexico and
shipped over the border, destined for our vehicles.

A repair is considered a structural strength and
integrity process.

The cosmetics will improve substantially (70-95%).
Every type of break repaired will leave a
translucent trace of where it was.  Of importance
here is to give us as small of damage as possible
to work with. Do not wait for it to worsen. And
DO NOT CLEAN. Contaminates such as "Rain-X",
glass cleaner, road salts and dirt can get inside
and ruin what would have been a very clean,
translucent repair.
